The summer months in the Ceduna District bring a variety of fun outdoor activities. Take a drive to the stunning Fowlers Bay and enjoy a picnic while admiring the beautiful coastline. If you are feeling adventurous, try your hand at surfing or snorkeling. The Ceduna Foreshore Markets are also worth checking out with their variety of crafts, food and drinks. Autumn Events:
The Ceduna Oyster Fest is a must-do event for oyster lovers. Held in mid-March, the festival celebrates the local oyster industry and showcases the culinary delights of the region. The event features music, entertainment, cooking demos and plenty of delicious seafood. Get in touch with the Ceduna District Council for more details.

Winter Events:
Winter is the time for whale watching in the Ceduna District. The Great Australian Bight Marine Park offers an opportunity to see these majestic creatures up close. Guided tours are available, and the Ceduna Visitor Information Centre can provide information on the best times to see the whales.

Spring Events:
The annual Ceduna Cup attracts visitors from across the region, with a full day of horse racing, fashion and entertainment. The Ceduna Cup is held in September, and tickets are available via the Ceduna District Council.

Other events:
In addition to these seasonal events, the Ceduna District has plenty of other activities to keep you entertained. Take a stroll along Ceduna Beach and take in the sunset. Try your hand at fishing in Denial Bay, or explore the rugged beauty of the Gawler Ranges. The Ceduna Art Gallery showcases the works of local artists, and the Ceduna Cinema shows the latest films in town.
